Common questions

About Knowledge Flow Books

What does Knowledge Flow Books publish?
Knowledge Flow Books is an independent academic publisher specializing in engineering, computer science, programming, and medical science textbooks. We publish a small, curated list of foundations-first titles built for university students, working engineers and developers, medical trainees, and self-taught learners.
Are Knowledge Flow books available on Amazon?
Yes. Every Knowledge Flow Books title is available on Amazon (Kindle and paperback). We also distribute through Google Play Books, Apple Books, Kobo, Barnes & Noble, IngramSpark, Lulu, StreetLib, and Bookmundo — more than 40 retail platforms worldwide.
What subjects do you cover?
Our four primary categories are engineering (fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, signals and systems, control theory), computer science (algorithms, data structures, operating systems, distributed systems), programming (modern languages, software design, applied machine learning), and medical sciences (physiology, pharmacology, biochemistry, clinical reasoning).
Are these books suitable for university students?
Yes. Our books are written specifically for undergraduate and graduate students. Every title includes worked derivations, problem sets, and a foundations-first structure that maps to typical university curricula, while staying concise enough to be read end to end during a semester.
How is Knowledge Flow Books different from traditional academic publishers?
We publish fewer titles per year (typically under 30) so every manuscript receives full structural editing — argument, chapter ordering, derivations, and problem sets. We pay author-friendly net royalties, take manuscripts from contract to print in four to six months, and refuse to publish padded reference manuals.
Where can I submit a manuscript?
Send a one-page pitch, a chapter outline, and roughly 5,000 words of sample writing to submissions@knowledgeflowbooks.com. We read proposals year-round in our focus areas and respond to every serious submission.
