Knowledge Flow Books ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect when you use knowledgeflowbooks.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
1. What we collect
- Account data — when you sign in, we store your email address, name, and authentication identifier (e.g. Google ID).
- Newsletter sign-ups — your email address, only used to send our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Submissions & contact emails — the contents of any message you send to hello@, submissions@, or press@knowledgeflowbooks.com.
- Technical data — basic server logs (IP address, browser, page visited) for security and performance.
2. How we use it
- To operate the site and your account.
- To respond to your messages and submissions.
- To send you the newsletter you opted in to.
- To improve the site, detect abuse, and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data. Ever.
3. Who we share it with
We share data only with service providers we use to run the site:
- Our hosting & database provider (Supabase / Lovable Cloud)
- Authentication providers (Google, when you sign in with Google)
- Email delivery providers for transactional and newsletter email
These providers are bound by their own privacy commitments. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

We use only essential cookies — those required to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. See our Cookie Policy for details.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live (e.g. EU/UK under GDPR, California under CCPA), you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Export your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent (e.g. unsubscribe from the newsletter)
- Object to certain processing

6. Data retention
We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law. Newsletter data is deleted when you unsubscribe. Account data is deleted on request.
7. Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be highlighted at the top of this page.
